2. Project Overview / Executive Summary

Mission

To help realize value from digital transformation with automation and autonomy aspirations, the industry needs to position these capabilities in a clear “value cadence”. A business benefit cadence that is value stream orientated serves as a north star to articulate what must be done, what needs to be done and what benefits are accrued through investments. While the rise in the use of both terms – autonomy and autonomous - is relevant to the total value of opportunity for technology investment, service providers and suppliers want to measure the business value-based outcomes on impact.

Value

As a member of the Measuring and Managing Autonomy project, you and your organization are able to contribute to and build the thought leadership, guide books, best practices and standards that shape the future for digital business in any industry.

Strategy

To be able to clearly articulate the value of investment in technology initiatives, the industry is collaborating on the business and management of digital transformation focused on autonomous operations initiatives.
