Types of Catalyst projects
| CSP Catalysts | Open Source Catalysts | Ecosystem Catalysts |

| Description | - Project addressing a CSP challenge (ie the prospective buyer of the solution developed by the Catalyst is a CSP)
| - Project whose primary mission is to leverage open source to create solutions or that primarily uses open source software to showcase their demonstration
| - Project addressing an ecosystem challenge (ie the prospective buyer of the solution developed by the Catalyst is a vertical market player, not a CSP)
