OPEN511 – road events
The province and many municipalities in BC and a growing number across North America ) have co-operated in the implementation of an open API (open511.org) for publishing information about road events such as closures, weather conditions, accidents, construction. Surrey, Vancouver and the Province of BC all provide data using this standard.

Address Geocoder
The Province of BC with the assistance of most BC municipalities and many government agencies, offer a geo-coder web service that provides open licensed geocoded and reverse geocoded data for civic address and many other sites.
 
Traffic Loop Counts – City of Surrey
This API provides locations of City of Surrey traffic loops and the corresponding traffic loop counts in 15 minute intervals.
 
OPEN311 – repair request services
The City of Surrey has implemented the Open311 standard for creating and querying service requests.
