  • Key discussion points,
    • Magnus Buhrgard Provided overview of the ONAP program status.
      • Slide #4  Discussion of the  ONAP  Program work
        • Noted there are three aspects to ONAP:
          • Functional Architecture, Open Source (Technology Realization)
          • and a new aspect Component and interfaces definitions which may or may not use open source technology 
          • The TOSCA ACM work arises form lifecycle management(Design Deploy Runtime ) of Components 
      • Slide #5 Jakarta release statistics
      • Slide #6 and #7 new featured for ext release named after Dan Kohn is addressing a number of issues slide.
      • Discussion of security and Supplier Bill of Materials  and normalized event logging.
    • Liam Fallon presented TOSCA Defined Control Loop Lifecycle Management Demo   and the background to Automation Composition Management.
      • Slide #5 and 6 Interest in slide on possible use of ACM and application to Closed Control Loops relevant to Intent Management Closed loops.
      • Discussion of Policy conflict resolution ( design and Runtime) - agreed this might be a follow-up topic.
      • Noted this allows deployment configuration and policy management of set of Components.
      • Became apparent that this goes above native K8S Helm templates for individual microservice Component deployments.
      • Also support legacy apps and combination ONAP and legacy app deployment of Composites.
      • Also introduces a set of state models for components.
      • Slide #9 show the example lifecycle model.
      • Demo shows a Source, Bridge and  Sink  configured by a policy component.
      • Series of questions and discussion about whether this might support Camara proposals.
