I am attempting to use Quote API TMF648_Quote_Management.specification and Service Order API TMF641_Service_Ordering_API_REST_Specification. As part of Quoting, the final state of Quote is APPROVED. In our use case, an approved Quote will be converted into Order without modifications. When creating an Order I noticed that every QuoteItem that is part of APPROVED Quote is required to be submitted as OrderItem in Order request. I think this is overkill for customer to resubmit APPROVED quote information again in Order Request. I wanted to understand if the design team purposefully left out ORDER creation from APPROVED Quote ID. Is there a reason why there is no provision to take an APPROVED QUOTE number and convert it into Order? -Anil
