The Moonshot Catalyst Awards recognize the catalysts which best solves the set Moonshot Challenges offering innovative & commercially viable technology solutions to the key industry challenges.

Best Moonshot Catalyst – The Energy Challenge
Best Moonshot Catalyst – The Energy Challenge
Awarded to the Catalyst that demonstrates best answer to the Energy Challenge offering innovative & commercially viable technology solutions towards our sustainability goals of carbon neutrality & reduced energy consumption.
Judging Criteria
The Moonshot Catalysts under each award category (i.e. corresponding to their respective Moonshot Challenge) will be judged by the executive judges panel (including their Executive coaches & TMF Advocate) based on the following criteria. Each parameter below has an equal weightage.

MOONSHOT AMBITION: How well the team defined problem statement for their moonshot challenges?(1=Did not define correctly, 10=Super clear & precise definition of the problem statement/Moonshot goals)SOLUTION:How well the Catalyst demonstrates their solution and help the team to achieve the moonshot ambition?(1=Did not correctly, 10=Most innovative solution to their moonshot ambitions)PITCH:How well did the team pitched their Catalyst idea & solution to Judges?(1=Not engaging/boring, 10= Most engaging, interactive & engrossing demo/pitch) QUANTIFIED RESULTS: Is the Catalyst able to quantify the business outcomes (in terms of number, dollar, %age) and explain with proof points?(1=Vague results, 10=Clear & precise quantifiable business outcomes explained well with strong proof points)POTENTIAL IMPACT ON INDUSTRY:What is the potential impact of the Catalyst solution in revolutionizing & solving the moonshot challenge?(1=Not much impact, 10=Potential to create a ripple effect & solving the industry challenge completely)TEAM COLLABORATION:How well has the participants & champions contributed & collaborated towards catalyst success?(1=Low level of team collaboration, 10= Excellent team collaborated (throughout the cycle) with the highest engagement from Champions and maximum involvement from all Participants) |

Guidelines & Judging Process
Each Catalyst will be allocated a panel of 3 Executive Judges to review & score the teams.Judges would be reviewing the Catalyst teams based on the following: -Onsite team interactions/demos at their booths (at the DTW Event in Copenhagen)
Catalyst Awards webinars would also be held by TM Forum staff in July-August, to share about this is detail. Judges will visit the booths of allocated teams primarily on Day 1 (19th Sept) & on first half of Day 2 (20th Sept till 1pm) to interact & score the teams.Judging Time Blocks or Slots will be allocated to teams. Although we encourage Judges to visit in the set time blocks, in case of any conflicts with their schedules Judges may visit the team as per their own convenience.Teams are advised to ensure that their booth is manned during that all time blocks.
