Sierra Wireless IoT platform provides an end to end solution for Smart City applications. It includes an embedded platform that is provided by the mangOH Green open Hardware (mangoh.io) acting as data aggregator as well as providing edge intelligence. mangOH Green is an open hardware reference design purpose built for cellular connectivity. It allows developers to use Sierra Wireless’s CF3 modules to build connected products Using Legato Framework It enables developers with limited hardware, wireless, embedded or cloud expertise to build applications easily. It helps developers to write out-of-the box IoT applications and connect them easily to the cloud using Sierra Wireless’s AirVantage cloud platform.
The Smart City application will take input from various Bluetooth or Grove Studio sensors and provide actuator functions as needed . Bluetooth connectivity is provided by on board Bluetooth IoT expander card.
The sensors kit includes the following sensors:

b. Bluetooth based: digital microphone, magnetic sensor, humidity, pressure, accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, object temperature, and ambient temperature
